about
- I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Psychology from the School of Arts and Sciences and BAS in Computer and Cognitive Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Science, with a minor in Mathematics and Spanish language certification. I have the honor of being a NSF Graduate Research Fellow and am currently studying at the University of Toronto, pursuing a research-based MSc in Computer Science with the intention of a PhD. I work with Khai Truong in the Toronto Ubicomp Research Group (ToURG) and DGP. You might also find me with the gang in the Technologies for Aging Gracefully (TAG) lab.
- My research interests are in technologies to support individuals and families in the at-home care, coping and self-treatment of chronic health conditions like type 1 diabetes, autism and visual impairments. This is at the intersection of personal health, self-awareness, informatics, human-computer interaction, technology applications, design and the overall user experience.
- When I'm not in the lab, I love being in the kitchen or at the markets, photographing and savoring life's little moments, volunteering, making and appreciating homemade objects, playing my viola and experiencing live music—all of which the city of Toronto delightfully indulges me.
