I was born in Bogotá, Colombia. However, my family has spread out quite a bit since then. Here are some of the places I call HOME and try to visit as often as I can.
My true passions are travel, theater, salsa dancing, and Martial Arts.
What can I say, the places above are the ones I visit most often. I enjoy trying out the foods of all countries, and learning to speak their languages. My furthest span in the cardinal directions:
I used to participate in my high school musicals. In college I took on more theatrical responsibilities, including acting, lighting, and directing. The group, Teatrotaller, is still around and growing stronger. And, BTW, still uses the logo image I made once upon a time... which is a good thing! It means we still focus on theater!!
What can I say, it's in the blood. Unfortunately I don't do as much of it as I used to here in Toronto, but I still listen to it a lot.
As a young boy I was introduced to the Martial Arts. I practiced Taekwondo for 5 years with Gonzalo Camelo, an instructor from the Academia Colombiana de Taekwondo.
Today I spend most of my free time outside of the DGP at Hasu Dojo, part of Classical Martial Arts Canada (CMAC), training with Sensei Patrice Williams. I have recieved from him a 1st Dan Black Belt in Karate Do and a 1st Level Niei Chi Instructor rank.
