The Time-based Information Management Project group's main focus has been the implementation of TimeStore; a system which displays information with time as the primary method of organization. Its design was inspired by reports of problems that have been found to exist with current, semantic hierarchy-based filing systems. The goal is to make retrieval at least as efficient, while requiring less effort for the user in saving files and maintaining a filing system.
