Notice that the images composing the fridge are not well aligned. The large gap between the first and last frame was incorrectly registered using the standard pyramidal Lucas-Kanade method.

The image below shows the result of perfoming mosaicing naively, by pasting together the centre columns of all the images. Note that there is a loss of resolution in the horizontal direction by a factor of approximately ten.
